“Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead.”
-Charles Bukowski
Of course there’s good crazy and bad crazy, we all know that.
This week on the ol’ Redbud Radio we’ll grab us a passing glance at where we’re at in our spirit and in our mind. A song can do that for a person. Whether it’s James Hand singing an authentic country song that speaks to abject loneliness or Forest Sun optimistically recognizing that new day before us for the opportunity it is.
And rather than drive you and myself even crazier (you know dang well we’re already there), I’m going to dispense with the blah blah blah and provide a quick overview of who you can expect to hear in this here program:
Charles Bukowki, Dale Watson, Hooray For The Riff Raff, Jimi Hendrix, James Hand, Peter Rowan, Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson, Dubl Handi, Matt the Electrician, Forest Sun, Woody Pines, Red Knuckles & The Trailblazers, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Rachel Brooke, STEViE One Bloke One Mandolin, Patterson Hood, Pokey LaFarge, and Indy’s own Jethro Easyfields.
Redbud Radio airs at 1:00AM (Eastern) Saturday night/Sunday morning on WICR 88.7 FM in Indianapolis and Sunday evening at 6PM (Central) on Dewberry Jam Community Radio in San Antonio, Texas.
Not in Indy? Not a problem!
The show will be posted here on the site later this week and remains on our player for 7 days.
